New 24 Resorter Dual Console Delivers Innovation, Captures Enduring Century Boats Legacy
– Century Boats unveiled an all-new model during 2016 Miami International Boat Show –
ZEPHYRHILLS, FLA. – Century Boats, a classic American boat company established in 1926 and based in Zephyrhills, Fla., announced that it unveiled the newest member of the Century model family during the 2016 Miami International Boat Show this February.
As Century Boats celebrates its 90th anniversary, the all-new 24 Resorter introduces an innovative and stylish dual console design that captures the spirit and ingenuity of the enduring Century Boats legacy.
“Century Boats was founded in 1926, and as we honor our company heritage we’re excited to introduce the new 24 Resorter,” said Bryan Lucius, president of Century Boats. “Throughout the Century Boats history, there have been many Resorter models that were loved by enthusiasts everywhere – and we’re certain the 90th anniversary edition 24 Resorter will stake its claim as one of the best yet.” Century is also pleased to announce that S&S Marine (the exclusive dealer for Century in CT and RI) will be one of the first dealers to have the new Resorter available for display and purchase.
Designed for family cruising, active watersports and serious fishing, the 24 Resorter measures up with a 23’ 9” LOA and beam of 8’ 6”. The dual console layout provides ample bow seating, a hidden bow beach-boarding ladder, and a stow-able bow table for entertaining. An enclosed head and cockpit sink deliver even greater comfort and convenience for all guests.
The 24 Resorter also comes ready for serious watersports activity and features a below-deck ski locker and hard-top tower with integrated ski tow.
Weighing in at 4,800 pounds and delivering a 20 degree deadrise, the 24 Resorter makes for a comfortable day offshore. The Resorter comes loaded with rod storage, rocket launchers and Mate SeriesTM combination rod and cup holder units. The 24 Resorter also features a lighted livewell and large, insulated fish box.
The 24 Resorter is fully integrated with Digital Switching by Raymarine – and is the only boat in its class to provide this standard. Digital Switching allows the operator to control onboard electrical and electronic components like lighting, pumps, entertainment systems, and much more from a network-connected display, smartphone or tablet.
